ST. LOUIS — EverRoot, a dog supplement brand by Nestlé Purina PetCare, announced Dec. 6 it has partnered with Laila Ali, a retired professional boxer, wellness advocate, and chief executive officer of the brand, to launch a new soft chew supplement format for the brand’s lineup.

The EverRoot Dog Supplements Soft Chews are designed with personalization, palatability and performance in mind.

“In addition to having unique needs, every dog has their own preferences,” said Annie Valuska, Ph.D., a pet behavior scientist at Purina. “For example, you might notice that your dog prefers soft, meaty treats instead of crunchy biscuits. That's why I’m so excited that EverRoot is giving dog owners more options with the soft chew supplement form. It’s another great way to personalize your dog’s supplement plan to their specific tastes.”

The EverRoot Soft Chews line features high-quality ingredients such as organic chamomile, as well as wild-caught Alaskan salmon and cod sourced from fisheries certified by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC). The soft chews are available in five formulas.

Multi-Benefit soft chews are made with spirulina to support immune health, pumpkin to support digestion, and cod liver oil to support skin health. Hip and Joint soft chews target mobility and are formulated with green lipped mussels and Omega 3 fatty acids from cod and salmon oils. Skin and Coat soft chews are formulated with Omega 3 fatty acids from cod liver oil and safflower oil, as well as vitamin E to support sensitive skin. Calming soft chews feature chamomile to naturally soothe, and Digestion soft chews combine pumpkin with probiotics to support regular stools and digestive health.

Through her support of EverRoot, Ali, daughter of boxing legend Muhammad Ali, hopes to provide personalized nutritional support to meet the unique needs of dogs. She is the proud owner of two dogs, Malibu and Buddy.

“Partnering with EverRoot on the launch of the soft chew supplements has helped to further educate me on the impact providing proper nutrition to my dogs can have on their health,” Ali said. “I want them to be around for the long haul, so it feels good to know I’m giving my dogs the best chance to look and feel their best with tasty soft chews they love.”

The supplements are available at select retailers and online through EverRoot’s website.
