TORONTO — Open Farm, on April 27, revealed that its new Pure & Purposeful Supplements for Dogs will officially launch within the coming weeks through neighborhood pet retailers and the company’s e-commerce site. The chew supplements will be available in five varieties and offer full ingredient traceability for consumers.

Open Farm originally showcased its new Pure & Purposeful supplements at Global Pet Expo from March 23 to 25 in Orlando, Fla. The supplements are available several varieties: Immune to support seasonal allergies, skin and immune health; Hip and Joint to support joint health, mobility and occasional discomfort; Skin and Coat to support skin and coat health with Omega-3 fatty acids; Calming to support relaxation and occasional anxiety and stress; and Probiotic to support healthy digestion, gut and immune health.

The supplements are meant for dogs throughout all life stages and are formulated with human-grade, non-GMO ingredients, which are completely traceable.

“We’re excited to expand Open Farm’s offerings with our newest launch, Supplements for Dogs,” said Mark Sapir, chief marketing officer at Open Farm. “Supplements are one of the biggest emerging trends we’re seeing right now, and demand from consumers and our retail partners, alike, is high. Our supplements are created specifically to cater to the many different needs of dogs throughout all stages of life, and like all Open Farm products, are fully traceable back to the source. This level of transparency is a first-of-its-kind for the pet supplements category and reinforces our commitment to meeting the most ethical and sustainable ingredient sourcing standards across our entire product offering.”

To ensure transparency for dog parents, Open Farm has ensured complete ingredient traceability for all five varieties of its new supplements, as well as its entire line of products. By entering the product’s lot code onto Open Farm’s website, consumers can view the full ingredient list and learn about each ingredient’s purpose and origins. Consumers can also view a product’s food safety test results from Open Farm.

Open Farm’s supplements will soon be available in 90-count jars from $29.99 to $34.99.
