ORLANDO, FLA. — Following three new product releases in late 2020, Zesty Paws released another new line of functional pet supplements on Jan. 26, this time focusing on hemp-CBD as the key functional ingredient.

Zesty Paws partnered with CBDistillery™ to develop its new Hemp Elements Plus™ line, using the CBD distributor’s quality hemp extract ingredients to target three areas of overall pet health and wellness: mobility, behavior and immune system support.

“Knowing that CBD is continuing to trend as a go-to option for wellness-minded pet parents and their pets, we are excited to expand Zesty Paws’ product portfolio to give pet parents even more options with our new Hemp Elements Plus CBD products,” said Steve Ball, chief executive officer of Zesty Paws.

According to Ball, Zesty Paws’ new hemp chews include the highest levels of plant-based, broad-spectrum hemp extract per bag than any other product currently on the market. The treats are also formulated with other functional ingredients.

They are available in two formulas. The Hemp Elements Plus Cognitive Bites include AlphaPrime™, DHAgold® Fish Oil, Organic Lion’s Mane, UltraCog™ phosphatidylserine, and Sensoril® Ashwagandha ingredients to promote healthy cognition and mental alertness. The Hemp Elements Plus Mobility Bites feature added glucosamine, chondroitin and chondroitin sulfate, OptiMSM® and hyaluronic acid to maintain joint, cartilage and tissue health.

Some proprietary third-party ingredients included in these hemp supplement formulas also appear in Zesty Paws’ recently released Lil’ Zesties Calming Squares and Ancient Elements supplements for dogs.
