GREEN BAY, WIS. — In a series of new hires at Carnivore Meat Company, Tara Smits on Sept. 1 was selected as the company’s new brand genius.

Smits will work in the marketing department as a brand steward for new products, marketing campaign strategies and customer engagement for Carnivore Meat Company’s Vital Essentials, Vital Cat and Nature’s Advantage brands. She will also be tasked with organizing, planning and scheduling for the marketing department.

“Tara is the perfect fit for our brand genius position and she joins our team at just the right time, as we continue to innovate new products and marketing that is focused on our customers and their experiences with our brands,” said Mary Jo Tomich, creative services manager for Carnivore Meat Company.

Smits brings experience in client services, customer service and marketing, as well as seven years as a tactical design manager, to her new role.

“Tara brings a lot of experience and project management skills to the table that are crucial to our growing team,” Tomich added. “We’re so excited to work with her to continue promoting Carnivore Meat Company brands all across the country.”
