GREEN BAY, WIS. — Cat Fages joined Carnivore Meat Company Sept. 21 as an account specialist for the Mountain and lower Midwest regions of the United States. The third in a series of new sales department hires by the company, Fages will manage sales and distribution of its Vital Essentials and Vital Cat brands.

Fages brings more than 18 years of pet industry experience to her new role, previously operating her own dog walking and socialization training business in California. She has also developed an organic dog grooming product line and pet collars during her career.

With Carnivore Meat Company, Fages will be tasked with growing new and existing retailer and distributor accounts, building organizational relationships with retailers and distributors, and provide product training and trade show support for the company.

"Cat is an absolute character with a vibrant personality that is going to serve her incredibly well in her new role with Vital Essentials,” said Joey Weichmann, national sales manager of Carnivore Meat Company. “Coupled with over 18 years of pet industry experience, she will be a force to be reckoned with in her market."

Fages earned her bachelor’s degree in speech communication from California State University in Long Beach. She holds several dog training certifications from the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, as well as a certification in pet food nutrition and raw pet food nutrition.

“I am so happy to be a part of the Carnivore Meat Company team, as the company’s mission statement is in line with my wheelhouse,” Fages said. “Everyone within the organization has a passion for the industry and they each hold a range of powerful qualities that I like being around. I look forward to learning a lot from them.”
