EAST LONGMEADOW, MASS. — On Feb. 24, W.F. Young announced that Michael Carlson will serve as the company’s director of quality and technical services. As well as aiding in the development of new animal and pet products, Carlson will oversee quality control and assurance at the company.

Young. “Under his leadership, we’re confident that Michael will ensure that our products continue to meet the high standards for safety and efficacy that our customers have known and trusted for 130 years.”

Carlson has spent nearly 20 years in contract laboratory and manufacturing sectors in various industries, including biotech, pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Prior to W.F. Young, he held roles at Accuratus Lab Services, Inc., Avista Pharma Solutions and MicroTest Laboratories.
