LISBON, OH — On March 8, BrightPet Nutrition Group, a premium pet food co-manufacturer, announced Donna Bowden has joined the company as vice president of co-manufacturing and export.

With more than 20 years of experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG), executive leadership and management of global operations, Bowden will aid in BrightPet’s “aggressive path of expansion and innovation.”

“BrightPet has experienced incredible growth over the past several years and the opportunity to add someone with Donna’s background in the pet industry to our team will expand our ability to help our customers grow their brands in domestic and export marketing,” said Matt Golladay, president of co-manufacturing and export.

Prior to BrightPet, Bowden directed operations for Nature’s Logic Pet Foods, now owned by Mid America Pet Food, and Halo, now owned by the Better Choice Company. She has expertise in quality and regulatory control, supply chain and vendor management, production planning, contract manufacturing and customer support.

BrightPet manufactures several pet food and treat brands, including Adirondack, Blackwood and By Nature. The company acquired MiracleCorp in January 2021, which included its Stewart brand of pet treats.
