CINCINNATI — Pet Wants recently appointed Emily Roberts to vice president of marketing, a new position for the company. Roberts joins the company with more than 17 years of strategic marketing leadership experience.

Pet Wants, a pet food and supplies producer and retail franchise, cited record sales over the last two years for expanding its leadership team. It established 22 new franchises in 2020 and, so far in 2021, has opened 125 retail locations. Pet Wants expects an additional 40 to 50 franchise agreements to be signed by the end of this year.

Roberts draws from past experiences in several industries, including franchising, retail, media, education, banking and non-profit sectors.

Founded in 2010, Pet Wants produces premium, slow-cooked fresh pet food formulated without animal byproducts or “non-nutritious fillers.”
