WINSTED, MINN. — Parker Freeze Dry shared that it is now offering test runs of its new Summit Model, a commercial freeze-dryer. According to the company, test runs of the equipment allow food and pet food processors to see the system in full action, providing real-time results.

The Summit leverages Parker Freeze Dry’s proprietary, commercial-grade software, which is also used in the company’s Parker equipment line. The equipment offers a turnkey package with a wet volume of 97 lbs. Using a maximum of 15 individually heated trays, the Summit provides consistent results across entire batches. It also can provide processors with recipe profile flexibility, enabling them to maximize product quality, potential and efficiency, according to Parker Freeze Dry.

The equipment features a stainless-steel vacuum chamber, easy-to-operate controls, dual doors, a removable cartridge design for creating various shelf heights, a deep vacuum system that requires less frequent maintenance, an industry-grade condenser unit and more.
