UNITED KINGDOM — McAdams Pet Foods has partnered with the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) to promote animal welfare throughout the pet food supply chain.

McAdams’ dry pet food products are formulated using ethically sourced, free-range meat and fish from RSPCA Assured certified farms. The RSPCA Assured certification includes strict animal welfare standards, including environmental enrichment and space requirements, the prohibition of farrowing crates and more.

According to McAdams, its dry pet food is the only pet food sourced by RSPCA Assured Farms.

McAdams will be donating funds to the RSPCA for every bag of dry pet food sold as part of the collaboration. The company has pledged a minimum of £80,000 ($91,342 USD) in the first year of its partnership with the animal welfare organization. The company is also offering a bag of pet food to consumers that adopt pets through the RSPCA.
