PORTSMOUTH, N.H. — Loftware, Inc. released a new automated artwork management software on Sept. 27, designed to improve consistency and control for packaging, labels and other documents.

The new software, Loftware Smartflow 26.2, introduces Master Datasheets to make it easier for artists to view content related to an entire product line. It can also help users better understand and mitigate the impacts of regulatory changes or legal updates on such content.

Loftware Smartflow 26.2 provides a central location for artwork content and allows users to create, review and approve content for each project or portfolio. Additionally, pre-approved content can be included and used to create new artwork projects more quickly.

The software ensures only approved content can be used in any new artwork projects. It also improves workflow flexibility by tracking comments, rejections, approvals and changes during the review and approval processes, and the centralized database eliminates the need to search multiple locations for files.

“Smartflow’s biggest benefits lie in its ability to facilitate collaboration and increase speed to market,” said Glen Bradlee, director of product management at Loftware. “This release builds upon that value by allowing product packaging teams to work together using a controlled process. It also enables users to curate content for all of their products in one central location, which they can easily locate, manage, use and reuse as much as needed.”

Additionally, users can configure time and date stamps for specific time zones, which can be especially helpful for global companies. The software is supported by the Microsoft Edge internet browser.
