PORTSMOUTH, N.H. — Loftware Inc. announced Nov. 16 the launch of Loftware NiceLabel 10, the company’s first major joint release following a merger of the two companies in January. In October, Loftware announced the two brands had officially integrated under new branding to offer a full suite of digital labeling and artwork management solutions.

Loftware NiceLabel 10 offers a top-level perspective of labeling operations to help manufacturers simplify management of printers and print resources using its Loftware NiceLabel Cloud technology and Label Management System (LMS).

To realize this new solution, the company undertook a ground-up redesign of its Control Center to prioritize valuable information and the speed at which that information can be accessed. This includes a dashboard where key labeling attributes and activities can be seen in one place. The solution also features co-branding accessibility to make it easier for Loftware’s customers to communicate and collaborate.

“The revamped Control Center is the heart of the Loftware NiceLabel 10 platform, which is why we invested heavily to redesign it with valuable input from channel partners and end users,” said Miso Duplancic, vice president of product management at Loftware. “Our goal is to give organizations streamlined management and increased visibility of their labeling operations through a more responsive and intuitive interface, empowering users to manage label printing operations with ease.”

The Loftware NiceLabel 10 tool can also improve printer management efficiency through a web-based application, all while reducing the need for IT intervention. The company achieved this by using role-based access controls and permissions for different printer groups, and the ability to install and update printer drivers remotely through the web application.

The solution is also equipped with new APIs [application programming interfaces] to support integration with external business systems, Loftware stated, as well as a built-in integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Supply Chain Management. Additionally, a new help portal offers resources, user guides, notes and knowledge articles to help users navigate and troubleshoot the platform.

Loftware has also partnered with Veracode to enhance the security of its new printer management platform.

“Considering Veracode’s impressive credentials and their commitment to providing the highest level of protection, monitoring, and reporting, we are confident in Loftware NiceLabel 10’s ability to safeguard user information and data,” Duplancic said.

The company stated it will offer new courses through on-demand training for its Loftware NiceLabel 10 solution.
