The Public Health Agency of Canada has ended its investigation after two brands of pig ear dog treats were linked to a total of 10 cases of Salmonella in humans.
The family-owned distributor will be the sole provider of the pet food and treat brand to more than 2,400 pet retailers in the Northeast United States.
The two companies will leverage each other’s capabilities to develop new products and tools to help manufacturers and retailers succeed in a changing marketplace.
The global CPG company will invest in regenerative agriculture, sustainable ingredient sourcing, reforestation, and several other initiatives to offset its carbon footprint.
