TAMPA, FLA. — Better Choice Company Inc. shared Sept. 12 that it is exploring opportunities for its CBD pet brand, Bona Vida. The brand offers a variety of treats and toppers for pets formulated with CBD to support overall health and wellness.

“With compound annual growth rate (CAGR) expected to be over 30% through 2030 and signs that the regulatory environment is improving for CBD-based treats and toppers, we think now is the time to reexamine the market opportunity for this segment of the market and our Bona Vida brand,” said Mike Young, chairman of the board for Better Choice.

This move comes on the heels of its second-quarter earnings report, in which Better Choice shared its plans to improve its business and accelerate its profitability. The company also recently received a significant investment from pet food co-manufacturer Alphia.
