OVERLAND PARK, KAN. — ZIWI expanded its Customer Care Department with the appointment of Jai Desai to customer care specialist. Desai officially joined the company on July 6 following significant growth for ZIWI in the North American pet food market.

“For over a year, we have operated with a one-woman customer care department at our North American office, spearheaded by Hannah Krieg,” the company stated. “We knew it was the right time to add a member to the team with the many submissions we receive from retailers, customers, partners, and industry professionals.”

Desai will assist Krieg, fielding customer inquiries, answering calls, and ensuring positive and friendly customer service.

Prior to her position with ZIWI, Desai spent the past 13 years working at the Humane Society of Kansas City. She has a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Missouri – Kansas City (UMKC) and a degree from Kansas University.
