SYKESVILLE, MD. — Pet Palette Distribution announced that Cheryl Bailey and Arianna Untereker have joined the distributor as territory sales representatives on March 8. Bailey will serve the Northeast territory, which includes Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont, while Untereker will serve the North Midwest territory, which includes Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, North and South Dakota, Ohio, Nebraska and Wisconsin.

“Both of our new sales team members have strong backgrounds in the pet industry and will play key roles in strengthening our communication with current customers in their territories, as well as building new relationships,” said Ron Metzger, chief executive officer, Pet Palette Distribution. “As we continue to add new brands and products to our offering and grow our business, it’s important that we also add the right people to represent us. The experience Cheryl and Arianna carry with them to Pet Palette Distribution, and most importantly their customers, is going to be extremely valuable. We’re thrilled to welcome them to the team.”

Bailey has 15 years of experience in manufacturing and distribution, serving as a regional sales manager and inside sales key accounts manager, as well as 11 years of experience in pet and animal health as a veterinary technician.

“It’s an exciting time to start this next chapter with Pet Palette Distribution with many new manufacturer partnerships being formed and the recent company rebrand,” Bailey said. “I’m looking forward to helping our retailers keep a fresh assortment of new products at the best prices, and I’m delighted for the opportunity to call on customers I’ve worked with in past endeavors.”

Untereker has served in the pet industry for eight years with experience in manufacturing, retail, fulfillment and merchandising. She has also worked in the veterinary field.

“I’m excited to join this team of like-minded people who hold pet health and well-being as well as supporting independent pet retailers as their top priorities,” Untereker said. “It’s been a breath of fresh air to work for a distributor that truly cares enough to build its business around these ideals. I can’t wait to meet more of our customers at Global Pet Expo.”
