STAMFORD, CONN. — Canidae has launched a new line of dog foods offering varying protein levels and formulations based on dogs’ activity levels and lifestyles. The line includes six formulas, all of which feature the brand’s HealthPLUS Solutions® proprietary blend of vitamins, minerals, probiotics and antioxidants.

There are two diets that fall into each protein level category, each with a different primary protein. The CA-20 formulas are designed for less active dogs and include at least 24 grams of beef and chicken protein per cup. CA-20 diets are formulated with 12 or fewer main ingredients, including wholesome grains such as oatmeal, barley, whole grain sorghum and millet, and feature real-meat animal protein as the first ingredient on the label.

The CA-30 diets are available in turkey and salmon recipes, each fortified with wholesome grains and vegetable ingredients, including peas and carrots. These two formulas are intended for moderately active dogs and offer at least 36 grams of protein per cup.

Canidae’s CA-40 dog diets are formulated for very active dogs, offering at least 41 grams of protein per cup. Two formulas are available with beef and salmon proteins, vegetables and wholesome grains.

Canidae’s HealthPLUS Solutions blend — which is incorporated in all CA formulas — includes glucosamine and chondroitin to support mobility, probiotics to promote healthy digestion, antioxidants to support immune system health, and Omega 6 and 3 fatty acids to improve skin and coat health.

All CA formulas are manufactured in the United States, developed in partnership with a veterinary nutritionist, and do not include soy, corn, wheat or artificial ingredients. They will be available exclusively through pet specialty retail stores.
