Under the agreement, Sadot Canada will provide full-scale management services to Big Sky Milling. 

The plant, a nearly $65 million investment, will process pulses such as local fava beans, into food and feed ingredients. 

Areas of focus include protein and extrusion applications, flavor creation, food creation and energy recovery.

The acquisition is expected to support the company’s Specialty Product Division, which supplies ingredients to the premium pet food sector.
