According to the company, the affected products have a lot code of 10/29/22 and a UPC code of 627975011673.

According to the FDA’s Center for Veterinary Medicine, pets could also be at risk of foodborne illnesses if fed Jif.

The administration urges food companies to be “recall ready” in preventing foodborne illness.

The dog treats are linked to three cases of Salmonella in humans.
