TEL AVIV, ISRAEL and NEW YORK — Three pet nutrition brands — GREENIES, Sundays for Dogs and Wuffes — were ranked among Similarweb’s Digital 100 list of fastest-growing digital businesses in the US market in 2023. Representing the Pet Care category, the list features the top 10 pet industry websites, including pet food, supplements, accessories, care and medicine brands, based on total traffic and average unique monthly visitors.

According to Similarweb, online growth for these pet care brands reflects the success of subscription-based purchasing models, high-quality nutritional options and personalized pet food plans.

“In addition to convenience, these [subscription-based] offerings help consumers budget for their online purchases, while not having to compromise on the quality of the products purchased,” said Ines Durand, senior insights manager at Similarweb and lead analyst for the Digital 100 project.

Greenies.com saw the steepest increase in traffic, up 492.2% to 9.6 million visits from 2022 to 2023. The website drew an average of 663,900 unique monthly visitors seeking dental health solutions for their pets.

Sundaysfordogs.com was ranked No. 3 by Similarweb, growing its traffic by 160.8% to 3.3 million views in 2023. The website’s tailored DTC dog food offerings, which allow pet owners to personalize their dogs’ nutrition based on breed, age, lifestyle and health issues, attracted roughly 179,200 unique monthly visitors on average.

Wuffes.com, a pet supplement brand, was ranked No. 5, with traffic up 124.5% to 2.2 million views in 2023. The website averaged approximately 97,500 unique monthly visitors last year. The brand’s offerings include wild Alaskan salmon oil, joint care, multivitamins and CBD isolate oil supplements for dogs and cats.
