ORLANDO, FLA. — On Nov. 1, Solid Gold® announced the relaunch of its best-selling Green Cow canned wet dog food formula, which now offers a boost of nutrition formulated with the brand’s propriety nutrientboost™ ingredient blend. Green Cow is designed specifically for dogs with sensitive stomachs, offering high digestibility and functional health benefits.

The wet dog food formula is made with Green Beef Tripe and nutrientboost, a blend of superfoods, amino acids and plasma. The food supports nutrient absorption, as well as digestive and immune health. According to Solid Gold, Green Beef Tripe is highly palatable, even to the pickiest of dogs, naturally low in phosphorous and high in omega fatty acids, making it an ideal protein for canines with stomach sensitivities or those experiencing temporary digestive upsets.

The Green Cow formula was a fan-favorite, according to the pet food brand.

“The demand, excitement and anticipated return of this Solid Gold favorite was heard loud and clear from both retailers and customers,” said Yvethe Tyszka, vice president of marketing for Solid Gold (part of H&H Group). “We are excited to bring back this unique recipe with green tripe, which has been a remarkable option for pet parents that have picky eaters or dogs with food sensitivities, and we are thrilled to relaunch it as the newest product in our nutrientboost™ line.”

To celebrate the reformulated Green Cow Wet Dog Food, Solid Gold has partnered with @DogsofInstagram, a popular dog-centric account on Instagram, to host a contest for consumers throughout the United States. Solid Gold is asking consumers to submit photos or videos showing the ways pet parents get their “picky” pets to eat. The contest will run until Nov. 12 and three winners will be chosen, with one selected to become Solid Gold’s 2024 ambassador for Green Cow Wet Dog Food in future marketing campaigns.

Green Cow will initially be available at select Petco retail locations and via Petco.com, as well as Amazon. The formula will be available at other stores soon.
