ORLANDO, FLA. — Solid Gold Pet has partnered with the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando to donate pet food to pets in need. The company will donate more than 300 bags of its pet food.

Founded in 1937 as the Orlando Humane Society, the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando provides charitable services to dogs and cats, including sheltering, housing placements, education and more. The alliance’s donation program offers free pet food to pet parents experiencing financial hardships.

Solid Gold Pet will donate 200 bags of its Indigo Moon cat food and 100 bags of its Barking at the Moon dog food. According to the company, the donation of its holistic pet foods will feed an estimated 11,000 pets in need.

Indigo Moon cat food is Solid Gold’s best-selling cat kibble product and is available in a chicken flavor. The food is formulated with whole eggs, peas and superfoods like cranberries, blueberries and salmon oil. Indigo Moon also includes a boost of probiotics to support healthy digestion and help improve immune health in cats.

Barking at the Moon dog food is formulated with sustainably raised duck and boasts vitamins, minerals and superfoods to promote gut health and provide immune support. The formula is high in protein and is grain- and gluten-free.
