FORT COLLINS, COLO. — Contract manufacturer of pet treats and supplements PetDine, LLC announced an expansion of its team on March 16. Victor Martinez Rodriguez will serve as the company’s new plant manager in Harvard, Ill.

Prior to PetDine, Rodriguez directed two pet food and animal nutrition facilities for Archer Daniels Midland (ADM). He also has experience in quality assurance and Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) programs, and holds a degree in mechatronic engineering. During his career, Rodriguez has aided in the unification of business and technology and developed initiatives to aid in business growth.

“I am very excited to be a part of the PetDine team and help grow the business to maximize our clients’ success,” Rodriguez said. “Envisioning and developing the strategic planning for the site to not only be a world-class operation but also to exceed customer’s expectations will be my primary focus within my new role.”

In his new role with PetDine, Rodriguez will direct all plant operations and staff activities and performance to ensure company policies and procedures are maintained. He will help PetDine elevate its production, increase plant safety awareness, and ensure quality standards within the company’s 210,00-square-foot pet treat facility.

In October 2021, PetDine announced plans to expand its Harvard, Ill.-based facility in partnership with ADM, following ADM’s acquisition of a majority stake in P4 Companies, owner of PetDine, in September 2021.

“With our partnership with ADM expediting PetDine’s growth, we are fortunate to have Victor backing our team and will benefit from his operational expertise,” said Preston Munsch, chief executive officer, PetDine. “As Plant Manager, Victor will bring senior leadership to our team and help strengthen our end-to-end processes to help set PetDine’s clients up for success now and into the future.”
