SYKESVILLE, MD. — Pet Palette Distribution has detailed its partnership with Project Hive Pet Company, a manufacturer of dog treats and toys, on Dec. 7. Pet Palette will serve as Project Hive Pet Company’s distributor, carrying the brand’s entire line of products throughout the United States.

Founded in 2019, Project Hive Pet Company offers toys and treats for dogs made with sustainability in mind and a goal to support bees and help raise awareness of their endangerment. The company’s treats include peanut flavored chews, biscuits and training treats all formulated with organic honey. The treats are Non-GMO Project Verified and do not contain any artificial colors or flavors.

“We couldn’t be more excited to partner with Project Hive Pet Company and begin offering their products to our customers at a national level,” said Ron Metzger, chief executive officer of Pet Palette Distribution. “Not only are they innovative and high quality, they bring awareness to a cause that is critical to not only our food supply, but that of our pets.”

As a Public Benefit Company, Project Hive Pet Company donates 1% of customer purchases to plant wildflowers and restore habitats. The company is also working toward Climate Neutrality Certification to increase its sustainability efforts.

“We are delighted to start this new distribution partnership with Pet Palette Distribution and give independent retailers across the country access to our interactive and engaging dog toys and treats,” said Jim Schifman, co-founder of Project Hive Pet Company. “Their vision definitely aligns with our own and we foresee a wonderful partnership for years to come.”
