BOULDER, COLO. — On Feb. 11, the Pet Sustainability Coalition (PSC) revealed the lineup for its second annual UnPacked22 sustainable packaging event, which will be held live online Feb. 22 to 24. The virtual event is set to bring together pet industry brands, manufacturers, suppliers, retailers and sustainable packaging experts to learn more about advancing sustainability in the industry.

According to PSC, it has big industry news to share about a new packaging program at the free Sustainable Packaging Soiree, which will feature appearances by Instinct, PetDine, All The Best, Stella & Chewy’s, Mudbay, Earth Animal and other companies.

The event will feature speakers, panel discussions and networking opportunities. Speakers will cover a variety of topics under sustainable packaging, including recyclable plastic films, compostable and refillable solutions, labeling requirements and social justice issues.

For the first time, PSC will also host a Retailer Keynote by Grove Collaborative and two hands-on workshops to provide point-of-sale participants with actionable steps toward sustainability.

Sponsors for the event include Morris Packaging, Peel Plastics, Nova Chemicals, Takigawa and Thanh Phu, which will also participate as co-hosts and special guests throughout UnPacked22.

Three ticket types are offered and can be purchased at petsustainability.org/unpacked22.com. Free starter passes are also available, through which participants will receive free access to the Retailer Keynote as well as the Sustainable Packaging Soiree.
