FORT COLLINS, COLO. — PetDine continues to increase its manufacturing capacity for private-label pet supplements, announcing Aug. 10 plans to invest $25 million to expand its Windsor facility to 105,000 square feet. The expansion will triple the company’s cold-extruded soft chew pet treat output and liquid supplement capabilities.

Additionally, the expanded facility will house a stand-alone powder and sachet line. It is expected to create up to 40 new jobs in the northern Colorado region.

"From sourcing the finest ingredients to exploring new opportunities in the pet supplement and pet treat space, we do everything possible to maintain leadership in the fast-paced pet supplement industry," said Preston Munsch, chief executive officer at PetDine. "Our growth is centered on helping clients capitalize on opportunities quickly and cost effectively, while maintaining unparalleled product quality and ensuring true client product differentiation."

PetDine’s Windsor facility, located between the company’s other facilities in Fort Collins, Greeley and Loveland, is overseen by Jay Sokolowski, senior operations manager. With access to more than 300 ingredients, Sokolowski will work to grow product and formulation output.

"PetDine's tagline is simply 'Made Better,' whether that is functional liquid pet food toppers, soft chews or pet supplement powders," Sokolowski said. "Everything we do is for the health and benefit of pets and making it possible for our clients to provide the best products for those pets. It is exciting to be a part of a company that is rapidly growing and expanding to continually be at the forefront of the pet food industry."

PetDine uses a waterless production process and does not include corn, wheat, sugars, salts, artificial colors or gumming agents in any of its formulations.

In July, the company cut the ribbon at its new, 1,200-square-foot Martina Holmes Innovation Lab, and in April opened a 10,000-square-foot manufacturing plant near Fort Collins to increase its capacity for producing liquid meal toppers.
