NEW YORK — Martha Stewart has partnered with Bob Menardi, DVM, director of veterinary technical and educational services at Canopy Animal Health, to develop a line of CBD-infused dog treat products to add to her empire of lifestyle and pet products.

"Dogs, too, like to be soothed and calmed and made to feel better,” Stewart said. “Some dogs are anxious. Some dogs ache from arthritic conditions or aching joints or previous wounds. Some dogs' anxiety extends to getting along with other dogs. And all dogs just want to feel good.”

These products include three formulas of soft-baked chews and a tincture. The chews are available in chicken and cranberry flavor for calming effects, chicken and blueberry for mobility, and chicken, blueberry and anise flavor for overall wellness. The tincture is chicken flavored. Soft-based chews are available for small breeds, from 5 to 35 lbs, and large breeds, from 36 to 110 lbs.

Stewart first announced her partnership with Canopy Growth in early 2019. She worked with Canopy Growth to develop a line of CBD-infused gummies, softgels and a tincture for humans.

Canopy Growth Corporation is a Canadian company that researches and develops a diverse portfolio of cannabis- and hemp-based consumer products.

The Martha Stewart brand reaches approximately 100 million consumers monthly through media and merchandising efforts and her branded products appear in more than 70 million households.
