VALENCIA, Calif. — Pets Global, the manufacturer of Zignature, Fussie Cat and Essence brands, officially launched its fourth pet food brand, Inception, on Nov. 20. The company first teased the launch of Inception at SuperZoo in August 2019.
Dog and cat food formulas in the Inception line are meat-focused, with at least 70% animal-based protein in each diet. They also incorporate ancient grains, including oats, millet and milo.
"Creating the Inception pet food line is our answer to what our valued customers have been requesting for a very long time – great product at a great price,” said Jeff Valdez, customer service manager at Pets Global.
The line currently offers seven formulas, four for dogs and three for cats. Inception dog diets include chicken, pork, fish, and chicken and pork meal recipes. The cat diets include chicken, turkey and herring meal, and fish formulas.
Each of the dog and cat recipes are available in dry kibble and canned wet food formats. Wet canned versions do not contain guar gum, carrageenan gum, xanthan gum or locust bean gum. All Inception diets are free from corn, potatoes, legumes, wheat, soy and artificial ingredients.
Pets Global launched Essence during Global Pet Expo in March 2019 as a premium high-meat option for dogs and cats. Essence offers all its dog and cat food formulas in dry kibble and wet canned formats, like the Inception line, including its newest limited-ingredient recipes launched during SuperZoo 2019.
