AUSTIN, TEXAS — Nulo Pet Foods announced it has appointed Roger Lund to senior vice president of international on April 5. Lund is a pet food industry veteran and has 20 years of experience in international sales, supply chain and procurement for various human and pet brands, including Solid Gold, Nature’s Variety, Ainsworth, Bumble Bee Seafoods and Mars, Inc.

Lund has experience in supply chain development across a variety of trade regions, optimizing costs for raw materials, establishing registrations and regulatory compliance of many North American companies. 

“Roger is uniquely qualified and already connected with the right partners to help us accelerate business growth in Asia, and complement our activities underway in Europe and Latin America, where the premium pet food business is gaining substantial share,” said Michael Landa, founder and chief executive officer of Nulo.

Greg Aldrich, Ph.D., chief operating officer of Nulo, added, “One of Roger’s greatest strengths is developing relationships across a wide range of cultures and customs.”

Lund will leverage his experience in international markets and relationships to support Nulo’s distribution and retail presence, as well as the company’s omnichannel strategy. 

“I have a long track record in building international supply chain and distribution platforms, which has helped me secure partnerships with organizations that can help facilitate our market entry and growth,” Lund said. “I am thrilled to join Nulo’s team and help bring this nutritious and innovative product portfolio to pets around the world.”

Through Lund’s appointment, Nulo will focus on expanding its presence internationally.
