Brian Streit has been tapped to lead the Technical Services division as director. He offers 27 years of pet food production and adjacent industry experience spanning operations, quality control, equipment technology, formulation and innovation.

“We are very excited to bring this service to the pet food industry and to our customers,” Streit said. “With special focus on collaborative customer service, we will take an experience and education based best practice approach to serve our customers as a solutions provider for systemic and new challenges, as well as partnering in innovation and new product development.”

The Technical Services division will also offer ingredient technology support, formulation and product development expertise, facility and process flow design support, and training and educational opportunities for pet food professionals.

According to Anchor Ingredients, part of the reason it has established this new service division is due to the increased complexity of the marketplace. The supplier hopes to leverage its ingredient and product development expertise to help brands stay innovative regardless of their operating environments.
