SOMERSET, N.J. — Gericke USA’s new process for cleaning sanitary rotary valves is designed to withstand high-pressure washdown environments and reduce downtime during equipment sanitation. The design features a proprietary stainless steel housing and sealing structure, which is durable during water jet pressures up to IP X6, the company shared.

This new process is ideal for food, nutrition, dairy and other sanitary product processes. It is available for Gericke’s HDMF Series of rotary valves, as well as its BSMF Series blow off valves for pressure release.

The high-pressure compatible feature is offered alongside Gericke’s existing clean-in-place (CIP) design or as a standalone feature. It can also be retrofitted on Gericke RotaVal valves.

Gericke designed, manufactured, tested and inspected the new rotary valve sanitation feature at its headquarters in Somerset, and the innovation is now ready for installation. The company provides a one-year standard warranty, and live product and performance testing is available at the company’s New Jersey facility in-person or through livestream.
