BELLINGHAM, WASH. — To meet demand for long-lasting chews, Holistic Hound announced Feb. 11 it has added a line of all-natural antler chews for dogs. The chews are 100% natural and sustainable, according to the company.
"In a recent online customer survey, we received an overwhelming number of requests to provide healthy and long-lasting chews for puppies and adults alike," said Courtney Lane, marketing director at Holistic Hound. "Progressive and intelligent care for pets is our core purpose, so we responded to our pet parents and found the best American-gathered antlers for them. Pet parents can feel really good about letting their dogs enjoy Holistic Hound Antlers."
Holistic Hound’s new antler chews are “hand-gathered from the forest floor,” the company stated, and provide natural health benefits through collagen, lipids, glucosamine, calcium and phosphorus.
The company currently offers two variations of antler chews: Split Deer Antlers, intended for moderate chewers, and Split Elk Antlers, ideal for puppies, senior dogs or those with sensitive teeth or gums.
The chews can help clean teeth, are odor-free, non-allergenic, and do not contain any dyes, preservatives or chemicals.
Additionally, Holistic Hound plans to release a complete-and-balanced line of freeze-dried pet diets and natural treats soon. The treats will be a variety of freeze-dried raw and single-ingredient jerky snacks. These new pet food and treat products will be sourced and manufactured in the United States without corn, wheat, soy, or artificial ingredients.
Holistic Hound started as a pet retail store in 2003 and began selling CBD supplements in 2014. Today, the brand offers veterinarian-formulated, full-spectrum hemp supplements for pets — including chews and tinctures — as well as mushroom-based functional pet supplements.
