The World Pet Association (WPA), organizer of annual pet industry trade show SuperZoo, announced July 2 the launch of a new virtual marketplace tool, WPA365, designed to offer real-time connectivity to pet industry vendors and retailers year-round.

WPA365 will help pet food, treat and product companies stay connected to retailers and buyers to support brand visibility and sales. Features include:

  • Virtual booths, with the ability for buyers to “like” or “add to favorites”
  • Multimedia content zones for social media promotion
  • Live webinars and pre-recorded product demonstrations
  • Event applications and live-chat options
  • New product showcase for product launches
  • A promotion resource center to drive engagement and brand exposure

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, WPA hopes to help brands “reposition, reconnect and reimagine” their brands and businesses using this new virtual tool.

“We’re thrilled to offer engaging, interactive experiences between vendors, retailers, industry leaders and more through the WPA365 platform,” said Vic Mason, interim president of WPA. “Having ongoing engagement between our face-to-face events, including SuperZoo, and introducing new ways for vendors and retailers to connect between these experiences helps to meet the demands of our modern, evolving global marketplace.”

WPA 365 is also equipped with real-time data and analytics, return-on-investment and revenue building tools, highlighted opportunities to promote products, customizable “booths,” and exhibitor enhancement programs from OneBark and FetchFind.
