STUTTGART, GERMANY — Schenck Process Food and Performance Materials (FPM) announced it will transition its name to Coperion, effective Aug. 1. The transition follows the company’s acquisition by Hillenbrand, parent company of Coperion, back in September 2023.

Coperion has 140 years of expertise in various processing industries through its flagship brands, including Raymond® and Bartlett-Snow™, Stock, Baker Perkins, Kemutec and Mucon. Schenck Process FPM has built onto this expertise, offering processing solutions for the manufacturing of polymers and performance materials, food, health and nutrition, and aftermarket services.

“The acquisition of Schenck Process FPM in 2023 has been an essential step for the development of Coperion toward a more diversified company and an expanded footprint,” said Ulrich Bartel, president of Coperion. “With the transition of the FPM brand name under Coperion, we take the next step in our journey.”

The transition will include a digital shifting of schenckprocessfpm.com to fall under Coperion’s domain, becoming coperion.com/fpm. Schenck FPM’s website and emails, including those from brands like Baker Perkins, will also change.

“Aligning more closely with Coperion reflects a significant opportunity for us to combine our strengths and offer customers access to a broader portfolio of solutions, technologies and services,” said Matthew Craig, vice president and general manager of Schenck Process FPM. “This wider range of complementary technologies and increased scale makes us even more capable of delivering value.”
