GREENSBURG, IND. — Phil Alexander has joined Shepherd Boy Farms as chief operating officer, where he is expected to “lead the company to new heights.”

Alexander joins the company having spent most of his career providing skilled labor to the construction industry. He formerly served as owner of Midwest Property Logistics, where he helped establish regional and national divisions to support the United States’ top five home builders, according to Shepherd Boy Farms.

In his new role as COO, Alexander will manage day-to-day operations of the family-owned pet food and treat manufacturer, including production, manufacturing and supply chain efficiency. He will also play a role in setting quality control measures, regulatory compliance and manufacturing best practices, as well as building out the company’s operations team.

His previous focus on customer service and positive work culture are expected to benefit Shepherd Boy Farms’ strategic and operational efforts.
