TORONTO — CULT Food Science Corp. announced it has partnered with independent pet retailers to bring its inaugural products, Noochies! Freeze Dried Dog Snacks, to consumers in California. The eco-friendly dog treats are now available at more than 10 independent pet retail locations throughout the state.

“We are thrilled to see Noochies! gaining traction in independent pet retail stores across California,” said Lejjy Gafour, chief executive officer of CULT. “This milestone reflects the positive reception from both pet owners and retailers who recognize the quality and sustainability of our products.”

According to CULT, Noochies! is the world’s first freeze-dried, high-protein, nutrient-rich pet food product made without any reliance on factory farming. The treats contain the company’s patented ingredients, Bmmune™ and Bflora™, which offer high nutritional value without any animal-based ingredients. In addition to environmental benefits, the line also offers health upsides, including improved digestion, immune system support, and overall cognitive and heart health.

CULT launched its Noochies! products online in September. To expand its reach and offer consumers convenience, the company has launched the products in stores. CULT also plans to further expand the reach of Noochies! and is currently in discussions with independent retailers throughout Washington, Oregon, Arizona and Colorado.

“We’re only just getting started on our retail presence, and there’s no better place for us than California,” said Joshua Errett, vice president of product development at CULT. “As we continue to grow, we'll continue to add more retailers on the West Coast.”
