ST LOUIS — On March 11, dog treat company Cloud Star® launched its Wag More Bark Less® Sandwich Cookies. The new human-grade dog treat boasts a peanut butter filling sandwiched between baked biscuits.

The Wag More Bark Less® Sandwich Cookies are formulated with human-grade, simple ingredients and manufactured in the United States.

Cloud Star was prompted to create a humanized dog treat after noticing the rising trend in pet food and treat humanization. According to Cloud Star’s Senior Brand Manager Joe McIver, sandwich cookies are a leading dog treat format in the industry, but do not have a significant presence in pet specialty retail space.

“Wag More Bark Less Sandwich Cookies are the only human-grade option in this format, and are made with fewer ingredients than primary competitors, are lower in fat and contain no corn syrup,” McIver said.

Cloud Star’s Wag More Bark Less® Sandwich Cookies are available in Peanut Butter flavor in a 11.8-oz package for $8.49.
