NEW YORK — The Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA) recently announced a partnership with Chicago-based market research firm IRI, through which PLMA members will gain access to custom market data.

PLMA members will be able to leverage IRI’s Unify data visualization platform to view data for brand categories, aisles and department performances. The platform offers a range of measurements — including sales data across several channels — and product selections. Data is updated on a monthly basis. And includes 317 categories and 967 sub-categories, according to PLMA.

“Our partnership with IRI enables PLMA members and retailers to get customized sales data quickly and securely,” said Peggy Davies, president of PLMA. “We’re excited to offer this as another value-added benefit to help PLMA members drive sustainable profitable growth.”

The Unify platform is a graphic-focused interface designed to help users easily understand market data and identify competitive opportunities. PLMA members can access the service through the PLMA website.

PLMA represents 4,500 companies across more than 75 countries.
