DENVER — Outward Hound launched a new-and-improved e-commerce website on Sept. 28, offering enhanced user-friendly functionality and navigation for desktop and mobile shoppers.

The pet products manufacturer has also added social and educational content to help engage pet owners with the products they are purchasing. The brand is also working on an educational blog, Furtropolis, with plans to debut it later in 2021.

"Our goal was to provide pet parents and our wholesale customers an easier and more efficient way of learning about, locating, and purchasing our products online,” said Michael Black, chief executive officer of Outward Hound. “This project has been months if not years in the making, and I'm proud of the team for all of the hard work it took to get this launched.”

Additionally, the pet products company plans to integrate social media commerce into its e-commerce offerings, allowing pet owners to shop its pet treats, toys and products on Facebook and Instagram.
