SOMERSET, NJ. — Gericke Group celebrated an expansion of its manufacturing facility in Regensdorf, Switzerland. Through the expansion, Gericke has increased its production capacity and decreased lead times by more than one month for equipment orders, according to the company.

The facility was expanded by 55% and now totals 45,200 square feet. According to Gericke, the expansion was needed to accommodate demand for its lineup of equipment, including pneumatic conveyors, mixers, feeders, sifters, lump breakers and other bulk material handling equipment. The expansion features a dedicated test laboratory with full-size equipment to simulate processing conditions that can be used to conduct factory acceptance testing, product development testing, and other experiments using batch and continuous processing equipment.

In addition to its extended capabilities, the expansion includes nearly 13,000 square feet of solar panels, producing 60% of the facility’s energy needs and building on Gericke’s environmental efforts.

The company held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the expansion in December 2023.
