LIVONIA, MICH. — Wag N’ Wash announced its first flagship store on Sept 6. Located in Ann Arbor, the new location is the franchise’s first in Michigan and will serve as the template for all its future stores.

The flagship store is part of Wag N’ Wash and Pet Supplies Plus’s (PSP) double-digit growth year-to-date, allowing the franchises to set another record-breaking year of expansion. Pet Supplies Plus acquired Wag N’ Wash in February 2022. Since then, Wag N’ Wash has doubled its store footprint with 25 currently open and an additional 40 in various development stages.

“We are on a positive trajectory at Wag N’ Wash with no intentions of slowing down,” said Chris Rowland, chief executive officer of Wag N’ Wash and Pet Supplies Plus. “Pet Supplies Plus is a proven brand, and we’re proud to be backing Wag N’ Wash as it marches forward in its next era of success.”

Wag N’ Wash converted the new location from a nail salon. It boasts 4,800 square feet and will serve as a prototype for its future retail locations. To celebrate the new location, Wag N’ Wash will host a grand opening at the end of the month, offering pet parents weekend discounts, giveaways, free pet washes and more.

According to Wag N’ Wash, the flagship store puts its aggressive franchise development strategy in motion as the company aims to open 10 new locations by the year’s end.
