FRANKLIN, TENN. — On June 13, Mars Incorporated appointed Ikdeep Singh to global president of Mars Pet Nutrition. With the appointment, Singh becomes a member of Mars Petcare’s global leadership team.

Singh originally joined the company in August 2020 as regional president of North America at Mars Pet Nutrition. During his previous role, he supported the company’s largest growth initiative focused on digital transformation, innovation and data. In his new role at Mars Pet Nutrition, Singh will be responsible for the company’s pet food brands PEDIGREE®, WHISKAS®, SHEBA® and CESAR®. He will lead strategy for the company and oversee more than 18,000 employees globally.

Prior to Mars, Singh served as president of the L’Oréal Group’s Consumer Products and Luxury divisions in North America, and before L’Oréal, Singh spent 14 years at Procter and Gamble.

Singh has a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Dalhousie University in Canada and a master’s in business administration from the University of Pennsylvania. He succeeds former Global President and Chief Executive Officer Tracey Massey, who recently joined NielsenIQ.
