GARDENA, CALIF. — On May 10, K9 Candy Kitchen, a manufacturer of unique pet treats, launched its new private label division — Himalayan-Style Chew — and opened a new production facility in Los Angeles County. According to the company, the new division and facility come on the heels of overwhelming demand since its official launch in January 2022.

K9 Candy Kitchen’s new 6,500-square-foot facility boasts an internal R&D team to support increasing demand from private labels. With in-house formulation and product development capabilities, the new facility will increase the company’s production to 2 million lbs of finished pet products yearly.

The Himalayan Hemp Stix chews contain 20mg of CBD to help dogs experiencing stress or anxiety and mobility issues. After launching the product, K9 Candy Kitchen experienced significant demand from private labels for its US-made Himalayan-Style chews.

According to the company, many private labels are facing supply chain disruptions, which encouraged the company to transition production to serve private labels. Companies interested in partnering with K9 Candy Kitchen can contact John Cullen from Bulldog Marketing and Sales.
