KANSAS CITY, MO. — On March 15, Prospection Solutions, which supplies the medical, human and pet food industries with inspection technology, announced that it would be donating inspection equipment to the Food Industry Technician (FIT) Program. Prospection Solutions will contribute about $10,000 of equipment to the program in celebrating its 10-year anniversary.

“The equipment generously donated by Prospection Solutions provides great value in helping the FIT students gain the much-needed knowledge and practical experience that is required by technicians,” said David Seckman, president and chief executive officer, Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA). “Please accept the FPSA’s many thanks for your very generous donation to the program and in helping grow the next generation of the maintenance and service technicians in the industry.”

Prospection Solutions will also be offering free product testing to 10 companies to celebrate its anniversary. The companies can test Prospection Solutions’ award-winning foreign material inspection equipment at its facility in Kansas City and will receive a report on how to improve quality and different processes. According to Prospection Solutions, the testing is valued at $2,500.

Founded in 2012, Prospection Solutions has become a leader in inspection technology solutions, specializing in IP69 low-density foreign material detection.

“Prospection began with a vision to provide innovative product and package inspection solutions for the food and medical industries,” said Jeff Youngs, president and chief executive officer, Prospection Solutions. “In 10 years, Prospection’s ground-breaking technology has led us to become one of the most innovative inspection equipment companies in the industry.
