SABETHA, KAN. — Extru-Tech, Inc. (ETI) has tapped Jordan Niegsch as process implementation specialist, where he will work with the company’s Innovation Group to develop and implement new technologies, improve its processes, train clients, and conduct strategic planning and evaluation.
For the last 12 years, Niegsch worked in the pet food industry with a focus on single-screw extrusion, high-meat inclusion diets, and overall plant operations. He has previously worked with Extru-Tech’s equipment in his prior pet food experience.
The company, founded in 1985, is a leading producer of extrusion processing systems and ancillary equipment for the pet food, human food, aquaculture and feed markets.
“I’m excited to be part of the Extru-Tech team,” Niegsch commented. “I’ve worked with this group for many years and tested several pieces of research and development equipment and procedures in my previous facilities. I look forward to being on the other side and helping ETI customers improve their processes and equipment. This job allows me to help to facilitate a project from the concept stage all the way to the customer, working with all departments of ETI along the way.”
