BLOOMFIELD, NJ. — Fieldcrest Farms, a family-owned dog chew company, has introduced new flavors and shapes to its collagen-based line of dog chews, Nothin’ to Hide™. The company’s patent-pending formula is a digestible alternative to traditional rawhide chews.

The original line includes beef- and chicken-flavored long-lasting collagen chews. Fieldcrest Farms has now added to the portfolio several allergen-free peanut butter chews in ring and bone shapes designed for small and medium dogs.

Fieldcrest Farms uses powdered collagen to produce its chews, which is hydrated, shaped and baked before chicken, beef or peanut butter coating are applied. This patented process is human-grade, uses pure collagen and manufactured in GFSI-certified facilities.

Aside from its high digestibility compared to rawhide, collagen-based chews also offer health benefits for dogs. These include reduced fat to help lean muscle development, and improved skin and coat health.

The digestibility of Fieldcest Farms’ collagen chews clocks in at 96.7%, according to studies conducted by the brand. Traditional rawhide tends to be 50% digestible, according to the company.
