WATERLOOVILLE, ENGLAND — Paleo Ridge recently expanded its retail footprint in partnership with Sainsbury’s, a UK supermarket chain. The dog food company’s Paleo Plus, Classic and Essential ranges will be available at 10 Sainsbury’s locations throughout the United Kingdom.

According to Paleo Ridge, the retail expansion represents a “huge step forward in the popularity of raw feeding amongst dog owners.”

“We are thrilled by the growing popularity of Paleo Ridge and want to encourage more dog owners to make the switch to raw feeding,” said Will Green, director of sales and marketing, Paleo Ridge. “We are incredibly proud to be trialed in Sainsbury’s stores, making our products more widely accessible for dog owners in the United Kingdom.”

Paleo Ridge’s raw formulas are made with high-quality, high-welfare ingredients and are additive free. The company is currently the only raw dog food company that boasts the ISO 9001 accreditation and is the only brand available to retailers that holds the RawSAFE accreditation, according to Paleo Ridge.

“Paleo Ridge has come a long way in the last five years and we are delighted with this new opportunity to reach more dog owners across the country and raise awareness of raw feeding,” said Gill Synnuck, trade account manager, Paleo Ridge. “Our stockists are incredibly important to us and we will continue to support them in every way we can alongside the new partnership with Sainsbury’s.”
