GHENT, BELGIUM — United Petfood announced its acquisition of Gold Line Feeds, a UK-based animal feed manufacturer, strengthening its position as a full-service pet food manufacturer.

With 80 years of experience in animal and pet nutrition, Gold Line Feeds operates a facility in Northamptionshire, United Kingdom, which produces about 20,000 tonnes (22,046 tons) of dry pet food, annually. The acquisition includes the facility, as well as Gold Line Feeds’ brands and customer base.

According to United Petfood, the acquisition will advance its position within the UK pet food market. The manufacturer operates 20 facilities throughout eight European countries.

The acquisition follows many expansions for United Petfood. In April 2022, the company acquired a manufacturing facility from Neodis Group, and in October 2019 it acquired manufacturer Teeling Petfood.
