The American Feed Industry Association and Association of American Feed Control Officials shared important updates during the 2025 Pet Food Conference.

Membership accepted K-State Olathe’s proposal. 

The association is recommending K-State Olathe’s new ingredient pathway.

The Pet Food Institute provided comments to the AAFCO in response to its consideration of a new regulatory pathway for animal food ingredients. 

The pet food and treat market keeps expanding as the industry sets its sights on record sales by 2030. 

The proposal would replace AAFCO’s previous MOU with the FDA.
