The event will be held from Jan. 28 to 30, with AFIA’s Pet Food Conference on the 28th.

Founders from Dog & Whistle, Pawgone Good, Skona Pet Food and TREEV will compete for a grand prize of $10,000. 

Christen Tye has been named new content manager for the organization.

The three-day event is free and promises educational and networking opportunities for attendees.

The event will be held in Kansas City from Aug. 26 to 27.

Frank Mitloehner of the CLEAR Center took the Pet Food Conference stage to separate fact from fiction on the pet food industry’s environmental impact.

This year’s tradeshow will feature more than 1,000 new products, over 80 emerging brands, and more than 65 educational sessions.

The half-day workshop will inform pet food regulators and industry members about upcoming changes to dog and cat food label guidelines.

The pet industry event will be held April 9 to 11 in Aurora, Colo.
